Resther Residence is a minimal house located in Montreal, Canada, designed by Atelier Pierre Thibault. With respect to the surrounding neighborhood, the project aimed to highlight the Plateau Mont-Royal context by reflecting its values, energy, and architectural features. Connecting the levels is a sculptural circular staircase that is illuminated from above via skylights. The design invites both natural and artificial landscapes into the house by redefining the boundary between external and indoor spaces.
