House in Ageo is a minimalist residence located in Saitama, Japan, designed by Kasa Architects. The architects took natural lighting into consideration, and planned the architecture in order to maximize daylight. The facade has the appearance of a modern shed, and utilizes black corrugated sheet metal in order to provide a distinct contrast to the neighboring homes. The interior is characterized by a series of ceiling beams that create a playful interaction between lights and shadows.
