Open Door Apartment 2 is a minimalist house located in Kyoto, Japan, designed by Ippei Komatsu Architects in collaboration with Kimuramatsumoto Architects. The home is characterized by semi-transparent walls that provide abundant natural light into the space without compromise to privacy. The main floor features double-height ceilings that encompasses the communal area while the guest rooms are situated above.
