Ring is a minimal house located in Fukushima, Japan, designed by Life Style Koubou. The structure features a windowless facade constructed of concrete, serving as both an aesthetic statement, as well as a protecting the privacy of the residents. The interior contrasts against the cold concrete and is comprised mainly of wood. The fortress-like exterior creates space for an internal courtyard, allowing the residents to open their home to the outside while also receiving abundant natural light.
