Stokkøya 1 is a minimalist architecture project located in Stokkøya, Norway, designed by Kappland Arkitekter. Situated on a sloping plot, the architects integrated the building into the topography of the landscape and created a space that would frame the outdoor views. A portion of the furniture was designed specifically for the space itself, constructed of birch wood, which also clads the floors and walls. The interior is deliberately simplistic so that it would not take away from the surrounding landscape.
