CURV is a minimal coffee table created by Los Angeles-based designer David Hwang. The movement produced by a gorgeously reeded glass surface and the understated motion made by the metal base are both highlighted and captured by CURV. These two components interact with one another as they are linked in a lovely way that displays the stunning but vibrant inside. The ground and base are subtly distorted by the reeded surface, which also delicately bends light to produce a lovely illusion. The base creates its own movement while tracing the glass’s curves, revealing the beauty within.
