Dusk Cabinet is a minimalist cabinet created by Seoul-based designer Lee Eunbi. The Dusk cabinet blends flexible fabric doors with a rigid frame, creating a striking contrast between soft and structured elements. The textured fabric interacts with light, offering a shifting visual effect that changes based on angle and intensity, giving the cabinet a dynamic presence that adapts to its environment. Objects stored inside are partially visible as silhouettes through the semi-transparent fabric, hinting at their shape without fully revealing them. This subtle interplay between visibility and concealment engages the viewer’s curiosity. Designed without a defined front or back, the cabinet can be placed as a central piece, moving away from the conventional wall-bound arrangement. The fabric doors slide smoothly, adding a tactile quality to the experience, reminiscent of drawing a curtain to reveal what’s inside.
