Foreign Bodies LP-35A is a minimal shelf created by Germany-based designer Collin Townsend Velkoff for Aybar Gallery. Velkoff’s practice investigates the fluidity and malleability of function as he attempts to generate narratives through the creation of unique objects. His wide range of experience with materials and their process culminates in the development of new methodologies of creation. Foreign Bodies Furniture pieces, are inspired by the launch pads that send our rockets and shuttles into space. These pads are the starting point for our vessels that carry our presence into the unknown.
