Layer is a minimal side table created by Tokyo-based designer Shinya Oguchi. Layer is a two layers perforated side table made of 1.6mm thickness steel. People can optimize the space thanks to the two layers system even in tiny spaces. And also the inner layer can rotate to expand the storage space. The stainless pipe is not only a structure but also an axis of the inner layer. It is a hair line finish to emphasize the materiality from an aesthetic viewpoint. As a result, Layer can use any spaces. The black dot is a magnetic foot for stabilizing the inner layer. It can use as a paper weight as well.
