Minus is a minimalist magazine stand created by Madrid-based designer Álvaro Díaz Hernández. Álvaro Díaz Hernández´s aim was to create a minimalist furniture design collection inspired by the line and based on a rigid welded structure. Everyday objects that transmits the attention paid to details and extremely functional letting the user to be creative with its functionally and allowing surfaces to be manifested from books, magazines and other little objects. “Minus” magazine stand is a conceptual proposal where the design fulfills the functional demands and stability while a distinct look. The design is conceived to maintain a strong personality with a sculptural style and a timeless aesthetic where the design exemplifies the essence of the line.
