Mjölk Sofa is a minimal sofa created by Montréal-based designer Thom Fougere for Mjölk. The Mjölk Sofa is archetypal in design and a study in stripping a sofa down to its basic elements: a composition of planes on which the fabric appears to float. The new work, which is a part of Mjölk’s exclusive range of goods, consists of furniture designed and made locally in Toronto by Thom Fougere, cookware from Japan’s Oji Masanori, and home goods from Sweden’s Ingegerd Rman. Beginning January 22, 2021, the artwork will be on exhibit and will be for sale in Mjölk’s Toronto showroom.
