Polar Lounge Chair is a minimal chair created by Zurich-based designer Moritz Schlatter for Karimoku New Standard. The clear, round and soft shape give these minimalist seating objects a characteristic, gentle appearance. The Polar Lounge Island and Bench are designed for contract applications and to fit in various settings from waiting areas, co-working spaces to museums and shops. While the Island has a lower seat hight, the bench is slightly higher for a more upright sitting posture. The firm, yet soft upholstery offer very good comfort and durability. Besides the regular KNS fabrics, the chair is available in the special Kvadrat Febrik Melange fabric, offering a unique, soft look and touch. The feet are made from solid, sustainably sourced Japanese oak.
