Za is a minimal stool created by Japan-based designer Naoto Fukasawa for Emeco. Za is a family of stools in three heights, handcrafted from recycled aluminum and guaranteed for life. “Za” means “a place to sit” in Japanese – a name that speaks to the multi-functionality of a simple stool that can be used anywhere, indoors and outdoors. A simple and timeless stool, built for lifetimes of use, to be kept, cherished and passed on for generations.
