Cabrils Hillside Home is a minimal home located in norther Barcelona, Spain, designed by Norm Architects. Stripping away unnecessary components and ornamentation, the design achieves an unburdened atmosphere, gracefully integrating the interiors with the surrounding landscape. The home’s minimalist essence is evident in its light and spacious character, allowing the inhabitants to experience an unobstructed connection to the outdoors. This intentional blurring of boundaries between inside and outside fosters a sense of harmony and continuity within the living spaces, effectively cultivating a serene and relaxing environment. At the core of the Cabrils Hillside Home’s design philosophy is the careful elimination of excess, which in turn highlights the structure’s pure and honest form. As a result, the residence stands as a testament to the power of restraint in architectural design, offering a refreshing respite from the complexities of modern living.
