Cocoon is a minimal space located in Hunan, China, designed by NONO Studio. The owners of this home are a young couple who enjoy neutral hues while wanting a laid-back space. The architects integrated their knowledge of color theory, design cognition, and fashion. The word “box” is presented throughout the entire design. The cube area would be transformed into various volumes by combining various materials, colors, and functions. This would eventually create a new visual impact and show intriguing contrast and form, playing between seclusion or openness, narrowness or wideness, gloom or brightness.
