Fatface 3.0, located in Shenyang, China, is a new space designed by Baicai Design. This 50-square-meter coffee shop is centered around the theme of “one’s own rebel,” reflecting a commitment to quality and attitude. The interior’s rebellious nature is reflected in its flexibility, which blends simplicity and complexity. The floor plan’s logic allows the space to be easily dismantled, reassembled, and adapted to fulfill numerous activities while retaining a sturdy base and fostering contact and dialogue. 

The exterior design retains the original building while creating a visual impact that harmoniously blends with the surroundings. Inside, the space features minimalist decor, highlighting sloping windows that frame views of the old building and the sky. The furniture offers versatility, including a central island-like countertop for various activities, all contributing to a welcoming ambiance. Baicai Design’s adaptable approach encourages interaction, enhanced by minimalist aesthetics and versatile furniture. This coffee shop truly embodies its brand values through its innovative design and practical functionality.
