Henry Howard Hotel is an 18-room boutique hotel located in New Orleans, Louisiana, designed originally by architect Henry Howard, and later modernized by Hunter Mabry Design. The striking distinction of this hotel is amplified by its locality within the quiet and coveted Garden District, which is part of an already vibrant and unparalleled New Orleans landscape. Needless to say, an intimate local experience is immediately felt through the authenticity of the building’s original construction coupled with the hotel’s stylistic sensitivities that pay homage to the local culture. The light-filled rooms, specifically the King Royale, are spacious and cozy, each accented with custom wallpaper and a canopy bed that frames a brass instrument within. The 12′ ceilings are matched with windows of equal height, with each interior harmoniously blending modern design and traditional elements into an exceptional cocktail of comfort and relaxation. For the property’s tricentennial celebration, the hotel published a self-guided walking tour of the Garden District’s historic landmarks.
