House Roth is a minimal residence located in Görisried, Germany, designed by Hafner Architektur Bauen. The project is a renovation and revitalization of a farmhouse. In cooperation with the client, the architects saved this historic courtyard from the impending decay and demolition through their professional and architecturally demanding renovation. The constellation of the courageous builders, the sensitive architects and the know-how of the executing company enabled this building to be given a sustainable future. It combines local history and modernity and can be a model for the revitalization and conversion of farmhouses.
