OW is a minimalist interior located in Taipei, Taiwan, designed by ST Design Studio. The clients have an architectural background and wanted a pure space that would be visually refreshing while also diverse and flexible. The designers decided to remove all existing walls and instead construct a custom birch partition that would serve as both a structurally element as well as storage. The built-in would allow the designers to adapt each section of the volume to respond specifically to the needs of each space. Facing the entrance, shoe storage is revealed, while the living area features shelving for books.
