Residence HDC is a minimalist house located in Gent, Belgium, designed by Ville Design. This spacious townhouse exudes an atmosphere of serenity and tranquility, with a primary focus on maximizing space and natural light. To achieve this, the design incorporates light and warm materials, including a light oak parquet floor, white lacquered cabinets, and a unique fireplace finish using a special painting technique. The kitchen seamlessly complements the floor, featuring oak veneer in a matching shade to maintain a serene color palette.

A bespoke solid walnut table and vintage Niels Moller chairs add a touch of uniqueness to the project, while the choice of timeless Vola taps enhances the overall aesthetic. To infuse more light and depth into the apartment, a white steel frame with cathedral glass separates the office from the hall, creating a harmonious flow from the back to the front. Natural stone elements seamlessly blend with the apartment’s serene ambiance, a signature characteristic of the architect’s work. Their commitment to delivering timeless interiors is evident, leaving ample room for clients to personalize the space with art and other objects over the years.
