Riversdale Road is a minimalist home located in London, United Kingdom, designed by O’Sullivan Skoufoglou Architects. Located in Highbury, this project re-organised, extended and included an unused enclosed exterior courtyard to optimise the rear ground floor for a family with two children. The previous cellular and cramped layout now provides kitchen, dining and a place to sit next to a new gas fired stove while overlooking the garden. The rear wall is articulated using a sliding door and a recessed single leaf door. The residents access a sunken patio area before climbing onto the garden beyond.
