Skovshoved Residence is a minimal house located in Copenhagen, Denmark, designed by Frederik Alexander Werner of Norm Architects. The designer has created a balanced interior inspired by Japanese aesthetics and furnished with high-quality Scandinavian elements. As a designer, he feels almost obliged to live in the midst of his own creations, to get to know the product itself in all its nuances. So for their own home, Frederik and his partner Julie chose Reform’s PROFILE by Norm Architects in natural oak. Following the strong presence of natural oak in the renovated 1917 brick villa, the couple integrated a kitchen to “strike a balance between something that blends in and stands out“. The kitchen elements are incorporated like an integrated piece of furniture and a natural extension of the space.
