udagawa Hair & Spa is a minimalist space located in Tokyo, Japan, designed by Mikiya Kobayashi. The interior consists of recycled particle board used for both the flooring and walls, juxtaposed against high-end salon chairs and floor-to-ceiling mirrors. The waiting room features a pair of Kobayashi’s own designer armchair, the YC1. From the outside, the salon has a clean, white exterior facade met with a door utilizing the same particle board seen throughout the space.
