West Broadway is a minimalist space located in Soho, New York, designed by MA STUDIO. The recent renovation of a 1,480 square foot apartment by MA STUDIO aimed to redesign the floorplan to suit the client’s daily routines while adding an extra bedroom and bathroom. This project transformed the residence into a three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bathroom space, maintaining its high ceilings and bright, loft-like feel. The design process emphasized functionality and the seamless flow of spaces, incorporating subtle architectural elements like curves and concealed doors to enhance the sense of continuity throughout the apartment. In preserving the original architectural details, the designers balanced the old charm with new, minimalist touches, creating a visually cohesive and inviting environment. For the final staging, Mock Studio selected pieces that complement the interior while standing out as individual works of art, contributing to a refined and impactful aesthetic.
