I Panieri is a minimal collection created by Sicily-based designer Giuseppe Arezzi for It’s Great Design. Introduced as a set of two tableware items, these pieces harness the earthy elegance of woven wicker, complemented by a sturdy metal frame. The design’s inherent dual functionality stands out. One component, crafted in a cylindrical form, is ideal for housing elongated bread varieties, such as breadsticks. Conversely, its tray counterpart has been meticulously designed to cradle smaller breads, enhancing convenience at the dining table. A distinctive feature of the ‘I Panieri’ collection is its rotational capability, accentuating its two-fold purpose. Rather than just serving as mere tableware, this design delves deeper, exploring contemporary methods and customs for presenting bread.
