Castle Balliswl is a minimalist renovation located in Düdingen, Switzerland, designed by LVPH. The former castle was transformed into three separate apartments, and features a completely renovated space with spacious gardens and rare objects within. The architects were careful and maintaining certain aspects of the building’s history within the new construction, and features stark contrasts between traditional art with contemporary builds. The frescos, in particular, were kept in tact, some of which arraying an entire ceiling or wall.
