Apartamento Jota is a minimal apartment located in Barcelona, Spain, designed by Deza Setien. The use of primary geometries and the interplay between volumes that define the rooms, articulate the routes, and structure the void result in a novel configuration for the house. The almost total monochromatic materiality of the house allowed the studio to focus on the most fundamental aspects, which prioritize the experience in space above all else, and enables light and shadows to draw and provide discontinuity to the cohesion generated by this uniformity.
