Cross House is a minimal residence located in Kilchberg, Switzerland, designed by Think Architecture. This landmark building is indented on all sides, appearing to merge with the protected trees and nestle into the terrain. The projections and recesses of the space make the building appear smaller and allows it to blend harmoniously into its context on all sides. With four apartments on each floor, access is via a central staircase with an attractive, airy space at the center of the cross. All units benefit from a three-sided orientation due to the sophisticated floorplan.
