Loft Kitchen is a minimal space located in Cologne, Germany, designed by Gerdesmeyer Krohn. In mid-2021, the studio implemented a modern kitchen project in a renovated loft in an old building. The focus was on the interplay of architecture, functionality and a simple, straightforward design. The fronts and side panels are made of light gray, ultra matt Fenix. The 12mm thick ceramic worktop is provided with a subtle marbling and has a pleasant matt / soft feel. In addition to a high-quality and functional interior layout, some smart details have been implemented here, such as a room in the tall cabinet, in which, in addition to all the devices, there is also a “slide-away door cabinet.” If necessary, the door can be opened and pushed back into the body to the side. An optional space was created for all small electrical appliances.
